Kevin on guitar, Barry on bass, Todd on drums. Carmichael is Todd’s old boss from when Todd used to live in Chicago. Carmichael still has a bike shop on the south side. We drove down to see him on 8.16.25 and then went over to Skylark for drinks and food.
I took the sweet lick from Going To See Carmichael – 8.16.2025 that Kevin played around the 5:40 mark, (that is still Todd on drums and Barry on bass) and then built around it with some ideas. I played a new drum track on my kit, then recorded an isolated bass line, a melody and a little extra percussion on the AKAI mini.
